Anarchy in Wisconsin

The AWOL Dems are dead wrong! They try to spin this as them fighting for democracy when by their irresponsible and illegitimate acts seek to negate the bona-fide election that took place in November. To follow their reasoning, the entire election process and rule of law is negated by minority, mob rule. So, is this the state of our republic, that an unruly few refusing to abide by established law and democratic process can refute the legitimate will of the people exercised by free elections.? The real issue here in my opinion, is whether the democratic process of majority rule with free elections will continue to be the law of the land or will we discard this noble practice in favor of the whims of a vocal minority.

Well said Frank.
Wisconsin Senate Democratic Leader Mark Miller ranted that: “In 30 minutes, 18 State Senators undid 50 years of civil rights in Wisconsin,” “Their disrespect for the people of Wisconsin and their rights is an outrage that will never be forgotten. Tonight, 18 Senate Republicans conspired to take government away from the people. Tomorrow we will join the people of Wisconsin in taking back their government.”

I say; The 18 Senate Republicans were governing in the name of the people, as they were elected to do. It is the Democrats who were attempting to take the government away from the people by their failure to represent them in session.
No-ones civil rights have been violated or removed.
